WHO WE ARE

The Ìdílé Majẹmu Foundation is a student-focused, faith-inspired non-profit established by alumni of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification, Obafemi Awolowo University. Guided by values of excellence, service, and integrity, the Foundation promotes academic success, personal growth, and social responsibility through bursaries, mentorship, and leadership development. We connect students, alumni, and partners in a supportive community dedicated to nurturing purpose-driven graduates who contribute meaningfully to society. Through our programmes and partnerships, we build bridges between opportunity and potential — empowering young people to learn, lead, and serve.

Temitayo Odeyemi

Co-Chair

Dr. Temitayo Odeyemi is a researcher in Politics and International Studies, currently based at the University of Birmingham. His work focuses on democratic engagement, institutional development, and resilience, particularly within African governance systems. He holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and earlier degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University, where he also lectured in Political Science. Temitayo has presented his research across continents and serves on the Executive Committee of the International Parliament Engagement Network (IPEN). He is known for blending academic rigour with community service, including his role as National Publicity and Mobilisation Secretary of the Ilesa Grammar School Alumni Association (2013–2020). His leadership reflects a commitment to thoughtful engagement, inclusive development, and global collaboration.

Olayiwola Ajilore

Co-Chair

Olayiwola Ajilore is the Service Director for GE Vernova Gas Power Services in Nigeria, where he leads operations focused on delivering high-performance energy solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa. A first-class Mechanical Engineering graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University, he began his career managing turbine installations worldwide. He later served as Contract Performance Manager and Customer Service Leader for GE Nigeria. Olayiwola holds an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School and is passionate about leadership, service, and personal growth. Known for his positivity and mentorship, he enjoys travelling, reading, and lifelong learning. He is happily married and blessed with two children. His approach to leadership combines technical excellence with a deep commitment to empowering others.

Adefoluke Adeyemo
Adefoluke Adeyemo

Co-Secretary

Adefoluke Adeyemo is a Human Resources Practitioner at FMDQ Group PLC, where she helps shape people-focused strategies that drive performance and growth. With experience spanning legal, retail, and consulting sectors, she has worked with clients in fintech, agriculture, hospitality, and food services. Adefoluke holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Her professional interests include People Strategy, Organisational Development, Change Management, and Talent Analytics. She is passionate about building empowered, high-performing teams and fostering inclusive workplaces. Outside work, she enjoys reading and swimming, reflecting her balanced approach to life and leadership.

Idris Balogun

Co-Secretary

Idris Balogun is a Legal Practitioner with experience in corporate and commercial law. He earned his LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University and completed his professional training at the Nigerian Law School. He has worked with leading law firms and currently serves as a Legal Officer in Nigeria’s financial sector. Idris is pursuing certification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, reflecting his commitment to governance and professional growth. Beyond his legal career, he is deeply involved in faith-based service, serving as Diocesan Secretary of the Church of the Lord Aladura Worldwide (Ikorodu Diocese) and as a Commissioner with the World Council of Churches in Geneva. He enjoys singing, writing, and mentoring children, embodying compassion and service in every sphere of life.

Adesola Afun-Ogidan

Public Affairs Director

Adesola Afun Ogidan is a vibrant marketing professional with over a decade of experience across FMCG, education, and commerce. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Yorùbá Language from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, and a master’s in International Marketing from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Adesola is known for her creativity, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence. She thrives in dynamic environments where she can connect ideas, people, and opportunities to achieve meaningful results. Her career reflects a deep belief in empowering others and promoting sustainable, community-centred growth. Outside work, Adesola enjoys travelling, watching films, and volunteering — activities that mirror her curiosity, empathy, and dedication to service. At Ìdílé Majẹmu Foundation, she brings a strong voice for public engagement and a passion for inclusive communication.

Hannah Ajakaiye

Empowerment & Capacity Development Director

Hannah Ajakaiye is an award-winning journalist and civic media innovator dedicated to restoring truth and trust in public discourse. She is the founder of FactsMatterNG, a Nigerian media organisation focused on countering misinformation and promoting information integrity on digital platforms. A Chevening Scholar, Hannah earned her MA in Media Practice for Development and Social Change from the University of Sussex. She has received multiple global journalism fellowships and awards, including her role as a Knight Fellow with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), where she led efforts to combat disinformation around COVID-19 and elections in Nigeria. Hannah also spent a year at Stanford University as a John S. Knight (JSK) Journalism Fellow, developing strategies to strengthen media credibility and civic trust. Her work reflects a lifelong mission to use journalism as a force for positive change, empowering citizens through truth, accountability, and informed engagement.

Olawale Alo
Olawale Alo

Partnerships & Investment Director

Dr. Olawale Alo is a geologist with a passion for understanding the Earth and its relationship with human activity. He earned his PhD from the University of Oklahoma, USA, where he investigated the impact of climate and human activities on water ecosystems. He also holds master’s degrees in Petroleum Geology from the University of Ibadan and Marine Geosciences from the University of Bremen, Germany. Olawale has worked extensively on underground rock formations, contributing to energy exploration and environmental sustainability through CO₂ storage research. He is an active member of the Geological Society of America and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. Fluent in English and Yorùbá, and conversational in German, he brings both scientific rigour and cultural versatility to his work. Outside academia, Olawale enjoys meditating on Scripture and is deeply committed to supporting and caring for the elderly, reflecting a life rooted in service and reflection.

Victor Ogunleye

Finance Director

Victor Ogunleye is a dynamic Human Resources professional and Talent Engagement Manager at Guinness Nigeria Plc. His career spans e-commerce, media, advertising, and manufacturing across Nigeria, Uganda, and the UK. Victor is known for his expertise in people management, talent development, and organisational culture, helping teams become more inclusive, motivated, and high-performing. His work has earned multiple recognitions, including the HR Unsung Hero Award, HR Simplicity Award, and Employee of the Year. Before entering HR, Victor worked as a graphics and content designer, a creative foundation that continues to shape his approach to communication and engagement. He holds a degree in Public Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Victor is passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential and brings a thoughtful, people-first mindset to every role he takes on.

Olufunke Okejimi
Olufunke Okejimi

Monitoring & Evaluation Director

Olufunke Okejimi is a Digital Innovation Officer with a background in customer management and digital transformation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University and has worked across real estate, logistics, and banking sectors in Nigeria. Her career focuses on integrating digital technologies to improve service delivery and customer experience. Currently based in Germany, Olufunke works as a Consultant at Genial Consulting, where she collaborates with IT specialists and service teams to design solutions that enhance efficiency and resolve customer issues. Her approach combines technical insight with a deep understanding of user needs. Beyond her professional life, Olufunke enjoys reading widely and travelling, exploring new cultures and cuisines. She brings to Ìdílé Majẹmu Foundation a keen eye for systems improvement and a commitment to data-driven impact.
